About the game

The game features an arts and craft style that makes it enjoyable to play and easy to understand despite being a daunting topic.

UI Design of the Menus

My Role

As a lead artist in the project, I developed the art style and pipeline to create and implement assets into Unity. I ensured that all my UI elements are visually clear and easy to navigate.

Asset Creation

Asset creation was done through painting, effects, and texture overlays in Photoshop. I built out shortcuts to facilitate these repetitious actions. The frayed edges of the objects are done with one keystroke, which expedited our creation process. After creating all of the assets, I put together spritesheets to get ready of in-game implementation.

Working with Developers

Since we work remotely throughout the development period, we had to ensure that assets that are passed along are implemented correctly. I was responsible for creating reference guides for the developers to place assets. The final results are almost identical to the drafts.
